Meet Jaxx (the brave protector) and Zeus (the snuggly lovebug) — an inseparable pair of best friends who need a safe, loving foster home while their guardian is away. These medium-energy boys are a perfect mix of playful and chill, and they’ll fill your home with fun, companionship, and the occasional zoomie session.
💖 Why You’ll Love Jaxx & Zeus
Jaxx is the confident, independent explorer — he loves walks, bones, and tug-of-war. He’s the alpha of the duo, a great protector, and loves to patrol the house after a good sniffing session outside. Zeus, on the other hand, is all heart — a sweet “ball bandit” who loves fetch, cuddles, and staying close to his humans. Together, they balance each other beautifully — Jaxx will keep things steady while Zeus keeps you laughing.
Energy Level: Medium — walks, fetch, and occasional backyard zoomies.
Social Skills:
Love all people and do well with older children (may knock over toddlers when playing).
Have lived with cats without issue — Jaxx ignores them, Zeus may cuddle.
Best as the only dogs in the home, though they’ve attended doggy daycare and group walks successfully.
Training:
Fully house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-comfortable.
Jaxx pulls slightly on leash, Zeus does not.
Both have good recall and enjoy routine.
Personality:
Jaxx is more independent and happy to do his own thing but will come for affection when he’s ready.
Zeus is affectionate and thrives on human attention and playtime.
🐾 Ideal Foster Home
A home with space to play and relax, and ideally no other dogs, will make Jaxx & Zeus happiest. They love their crate for comfort and can be left alone without worry — just expect them to wrestle, chew their toys, and have a few silly zoomie sessions.
🧸 Special Notes
Fireworks: Both dislike loud booms — a quiet, calm home is best during holidays.
Medical: Jaxx had a recent IVDD flare-up and should be restricted from jumping on/off furniture. He is no longer on medication but should be monitored for recurrence.
Quirks: Zeus may scratch at furniture if his ball rolls underneath — and Jaxx may go after napkins or wipes if left out overnight.
