Meet Obasi — a 9-year-old, 23 lb Carlin Pinscher (Min Pin/Pug mix) with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This little guy is looking for a loving foster home while his family is away on military deployment.
💛 Personality & Energy
Obasi is a medium-energy companion who loves a slow, lazy morning but turns into a playful, happy pup in the evenings. He enjoys daily walks, yard zoomies, and cuddling up with his people at the end of the day.
He’s independent yet affectionate, gives the best morning kisses, and loves staying close to his person — whether on a lap or simply following you from room to room.
🐾 Good With
People: Friendly, though he may bark to alert when new people arrive.
Children: Good with kids, but supervision recommended around toddlers as he isn’t used to rough play.
Dogs: Plays well with other dogs (sometimes tries to act “big” around larger dogs but is all bark!).
Cats: Totally fine — he mostly ignores them.
🏡 Ideal Foster Home
Comfortable with a small dog who may bark when strangers arrive
Willing to provide daily walks and keep his routine consistent
Able to supervise around toddlers and redirect excited barking if needed
Obasi is house-trained, leash-trained, crate-tolerant, and trustworthy when left alone. He’s a chill car rider and will happily snooze during short trips.
🩺 Special Notes
Obasi may have mild seasonal allergies (a bit of honey usually does the trick). He thrives when food is kept put away and trash cans are secured — then he can safely free roam.
