Boo is a sweet, easygoing 5-year-old Border Collie looking for a loving foster home while her owner serves our country. At 40 pounds, Boo is the perfect size for couch snuggles and outdoor adventures — though she’s happiest with a backyard to call his own.
This laid-back boy loves car rides, long walks, hikes, tug-of-war, swimming, squeaky toys, and snacks. She’s great with people and does best with older kids (8+) who can respect his space. Boo would prefer to be your one-and-only furry friend, though she may be okay with a smaller male dog after careful introductions. Cats, however, are too tempting for her to resist herding.
Boo is house trained, kennel trained, and walks calmly on a loose leash. While she can be trusted alone, you’ll want to keep tempting treats out of the trash — she’s been known to sneak a snack now and then! Boo travels well by car, happily snoozing in the back seat or watching the world go by through the window.
Because of two previously broken legs, Boo’s physical activity should be monitored and kept within safe limits — but that won’t stop her from enjoying strolls, splashing in water, and quality cuddle time.
